Arthroscopic Knee Synovectomy Surgery: Before & After

Arthroscopic is to repair or remove of a torn meniscus. It is simple surgical procedure requiring only local or regional anesthesia to numb the operation site. Patient remains lucid and responsive throughout the surgery. There are some steps that should be followed to get success in the surgery as they are to be noticed.

When Surgery is completed,
·        Saline solution is drained from the Knee
·        Incistion are stitched closed
·        Bandaged is applied

Synovectomy is the removal of joint lining and it acts as a lining just to clear it. Surgeon’s documents follow the procedure from the picture in the video monitor; patient also can see the surgery from that video.
