Small-cell
lung cancer is also known as small-cell carcinoma. It is generally caused due to regular
cigarette smoking. It originates in the
lung itself and considered as the highly malignant cancer.
It is considered by
some researchers that due to the failure in the mechanism that controls the
size of the cells, this disease develops in the body. Small-cell carcinoma is
metastatic in nature and it rapidly develops metastatic symptoms.
