Liver Cancer

Liver Cancer
It is also known as Hepatocellular carcinoma. It is usually rare in the US.

SYMPTOMS:
The individual shows yellowish tone of the skin, bloating, easy bruising, anorexia, weight loss, abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness and nausea.


DIAGNOSIS:
USG is done firstly. It is suspected in people having hepatitis B or C and cirrhosis. CT and MRI are also done. Biopsy is also conducted.

TREATMENT:

It can be managed by liver transplant, Sorafenib, surgical resection, TACE, RFA, SIRT, PIE, HIFU, Hormonal therapy, adjuvant chemotherapy and cryosurgery.
