Progressive
supranuclear palsy
It is a worsening disease connecting the slow
worsening and demise of detailed volumes of the brain.
Symptoms
The early indications in two-thirds of cases
are damage of equilibrium, attacking forward when mobilizing, bumping into
objects or people, fast walking, and falls. Other communal early indications
are changes in character, visual symptoms, and general slowing of movement.
Diagnosis
PSP is regularly misdiagnosed as Parkinson's sickness
because of the decelerated actions and gait trouble, or as Alzheimer's disease as
of the social changes.
Treatment
Patients with PSP typically seek or are mentioned
to work-related therapy, speech-language pathology for motor speech changes characteristically
a spastic-ataxic dysarthria, and exercise for balance and gait problems with
reports of frequent falls.
