Laminectomy is the surgery
which removes a portion of the vertebral bone called as lamina. Lamina Lies
between the spinous process it is a posterior arch of the vertebral bone.
Many muscles are been
attached to them which could be removed by using a technique of these
structures with disconnecting the muscles. This is also called as
tissue-preserving surgery which is performed and as a minimal surgery which
will result in leaving high number of muscle intact and spinal process spares.
