Lung transplant is also called as
pulmonary transplantation is a procedure in which patient’s lungs are diseased
and to be partially replaced or completely replaced by a donor who donates
lungs.
In pulmonary patients while lung
transplant takes place there is a high end of risk and also may extend the life
of the patient and will also improve the quality of living rather than
previously.
In general this procedure is done to
the patients at the end stage of their lung disease who had gone through the
available treatments without any result. Some surgeries will depend on their
conditions.
