There are different options of nail
removal which are ingrown toenails, surgical management is require when a minor
treatment of inner grown nails which is conservative or when the condition is
severe of nail then the procedure is suggested.

which is an avulsion of the plate of nail is known as a wedge resection or it
is also called as complete removal of nail.
The other case like if the nail is
developing after the treatment it is recommended to destruct the germinal
matrix with phenol. If surgery is performed antibiotics is not required.
