Arthroscopy is the procedure of surgery in which for curing of diseases like subacromial impingement, rotator cuff tears, frozen shoulder, acromioclavicular osteoarthritis, chronic tendonitis, partial tear of the long bicep tendon and removal of loose bodies.

The indications are most commonly subacromial decompression and rotator cuff repair. This procedure will be done by joint opening through incisions which are big in size before the starting of arthroscopy.
