Orthognathic Surgery: Before & After Orthognathic surgery

This is completely related to face and jaw adjustments, and also for growth, sleep, apnea. Some procedures like braces will not even help to keep in order with orthodontic orders.

In some conditions like cleft palate this treatment is so helpful to overcome the problem. In general bones can get cut and will be re arranged and thereon placed with screws or plates as a substitute.

Some of the doctors or surgeons call this procedure of surgery as corrective jaw surgery. In collaboration of orthodontist this surgery will get done or by a maxillofacial surgeon. Care should be taken with the orthodontist and surgeon until the teeth is fitted properly.
