This treatment is a breast cancer
treatment. In this surgical procedure radical mastectomy in this breast,
underlying chest muscle and lymph nodes of the axilla are completely removed in
this radical mastectomy treatment
In 1882 It was developed by William Stewart
Halsted. He performed first in this treatment. In US Women who have breast
cancer was treated it was done in the year about 1895 to the mid – 1970. AT the
time women’s were about 90% treated for the breast cancer. It is performed in
very crucial and in extreme cases.
This operation is very stressful for
the women Because of the anesthesia which was given to the patient.
