This Biliopancreatic diversion is also known as bariatric surgery. This Biliopancreatic diversion means cutting of the stomach. In this operation stomach cut into smaller size and large incisions are made into the stomach.

By making the stomach smaller changes the normal process of digestion. After the  operation , patient is able to eat only little amount of food and he/she is able to take only liquid food after the operation for few days after some days of recovery then patient goes to  semi solid food then the patient takes solid food completely.
