Bronchoscopy: Before & After Bronchoscopy

It is an endoscopic technique which will visualize the internal of the airways for purposes that are for diagnostic and therapeutic, there is an instrument called bronchoscope which will be inserted into the airways it would be commonly through mouth or nose, or sometimes it might may be through a tracheostomy.

In inflammation, tumors, bleeding and foreign bodies it allows the practitioner to examine the airways of the patient.

This bronchoscope is made of metal tubes which are rigid and vary in ranges. Also there would be lighting devices which is interconnected with optical fiber instruments with video equipment.
