Malignant Mesothelioma Symptoms: How to Identify Malignant Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma also known as malignant mesotheliom is a form of cancer. It is generally found with the people who have worked with the asbestos manufacturing industry.

It occurs due to the inhalation of asbestos dust and fibbers. The most common bodily part where this fatal disease occurs is the outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall.

Sometimes the probability of rising of the disease also makes it spread up to the lining of the abdominal cavity and the sac that surrounds the heart.

Shortness of breath, frequent coughing, and pain in the chest are often symptoms of pleural mesothelioma.

Though this disease is difficult to be cured, a pleurectomy is the most common surgery which is recommended for curing this disease. Under this treatment, the lining of the chest is removed.
