Retinoblastoma Symptoms: How to Identify Retinoblastoma

A patient suffering from Retinoblastoma may experience the following symptoms:

  • Lazy eye: It is also known as strabismus. It is a condition in which both the eyes of the person do not appear to look in the same direction. This is usually caused by a slight weakness of the muscle responsible for controlling the eyes.
  • White papillose reflex: This is one of the early and most common signs of retinoblastoma. Usually, when you flash a light in the eye, the pupil will appear red due to the blood in the vessels. In case of retinoblastoma, the pupil may appear pink or white instead.
