In an implantable unit the device called implantable cardioverter defibrillator which will combine a cardioverter and defibrillator; it is arranged for the patients who are suffering from sudden cardiac arrest, by cause of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. It is a small battery powered unit and also generally called as impulse generator.


This implantable cardioverter defibrillator will constantly observe the heart rate and if it decreases it will deliver a shock to the heart, so that it would take some intimation.
