Partial Knee Replacement Surgery: Before & After Partial knee replacement

This is also called as Unicompartmental arthroplasty, this is an option for some patients. Not all the patients are for this partial knee replacement like patients with Rheumatoid, Lupus, Psoriatic, etc.

In general knee is divided into three compartments, they are
·        Medial (the inner part)
·        Lateral (the outer part)
·        Patellofemoral ( the joint between the knee and thigh bone)




With total knee replacement the best treatment is done in patients who are with arthritis will consider with this procedure and is easy like less time hospital stay, blood loss in less quantity, low percentage of infection risk and blood clots.
