Radiofrequency Ablation Surgery: Before & After Radiofrequency ablation

This is a medical procedure which a part of the electrical conduction system of the heart, tumor or any tissue which is dysfunctional is made smaller or less by melting by using of heat generated from alternating current with high frequency which would be in the range of 350-500 kHz.

In general it is conducted in out-patient setting which is used either local anesthetics or sometimes conscious sedation anesthesia. There are two important advantages of          Radio frequency current in which it does not directly pass current to nerves or heart muscle and can also be used without a need of general anesthetic.
