Radical Prostatectomy Surgery: Before & After Radical prostatectomy

This is a kind of procedure which will help in removal of complete prostate and also its capsule, and also the seminal vesicles.

It is the gland that is located around the neck of the bladder and in male it is located at the urethra. The so called seminal vesicles will lie behind the bladder and close to the prostate. They release a thick fluid which forms part of the semen.

The procedure will run under an anesthesia and time would take around one and half hour to four hours to get completed. Patient gets unconscious during the operation during the procedure but after awaking the area gets unresponsive.
