Third Molar Extraction: Before & After Third molar extraction

This is also called as wisdom tooth, is one among the three molars per quadrant of the dentition of human. In general it appears at the age of 17 to 25, it was the most distal among the three. 

Most of the adults have four wisdom teeth, but sometimes in adults there would be more, in this case the extra tooth are called as supernumerary teeth.
Third molar teeth commonly affect other teeth as they develop, as they often extracted when it appears.


An oral or maxillofacial surgeon can extract third molar tooth, as it may be done in dentist’s or surgeon’s office.
