Nipah Virus

Nipah virus (NiV)
Nipah virus (NiV) infection is afresh developing zoonosis that affects simple sickness in both humans and animals.


Symptoms
 The normal host of the virus is fruit bats of the Pteropodidae Family, Petrousgenus. Sickness with Nipah virus instigates with 3-14 days of headache and fever. This is trailed by sleepiness and bewilderment considered by mental confusion.

Diagnosis
Laboratory analysis can be made by separation of the virus, documentation of the RNA by use of opposite transcriptase-PCR, discovery of antigens in tissues by immuno histochemical discoloration with exact antibodies, or serologic tests such as unintended virus neutralization tests and ELISA.

Treatment

Human patients obligatory concentrated care with airing support to achieve the encephalitis; no specific cure is available.
