Patau Syndrome (Trisomy 13)

Patau syndrome
It is a disease produced by a chromosomal abnormality, in which some or all of the cells of the body contain extra genetic material from chromosome 13.


Symptoms
Nervous system, Intellectual disability and motor disorder, Microcephaly, Holoprosencephaly (failure of the forebrain to divide properly).

Diagnosis
Analysis is typically based on clinical results, though fetal chromosome analysis will show trisomy 13. While many of the bodily results are alike to Edward's syndrome there are a few sole traits, such as polydactyl.

Treatment

 Medical administration of youngsters with Trisomy 13 is deliberate on a case-by-case base and depends on the individual conditions of the enduring. Cure of Patau disease emphases on the exact physical difficulties with which each child is born.
