Primary lateral sclerosis

It is an infrequent neuromuscular illness considered by liberal muscle weakness in the voluntary muscles. PLS fits to a group of illnesses known as motor neuron diseases

Symptoms
The complaint typically begins in the legs, but it may start in the handsor the tongue. Indications may include trouble with balance, stiffness and weakness in the, clumsiness and legs.


Diagnosis
There is no single test that settles ananalysis of main lateral sclerosis (PLS). In fact, since the disease can mimic signs and indications of other neurological illnesses such as manifold sclerosis and ALS, your doctor may order numerous examinations to rule out other diseases.

Treatment

Cure for persons with PLS is symptomatic. Tizanidineand Baclofen may decrease spasticity. Phenytoin or Quinine may reduce cramps.
